UAE Facilitates Sixth Prisoner Exchange Between Russia and Ukraine
A Humanitarian Achievement Amidst Conflict The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has once again demonstrated its commitment to peaceful conflict resolution by facilitating the sixth prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine this year. This latest humanitarian mediation effort has resulted in the release of 95 prisoners by each side, a fact that highlights the crucial role played by the Gulf country in mitigating the devastating effects of war. This exchange comes just three weeks after the last agreement facilitated by the UAE, in which 100 prisoners of war were released from each side.
