However, there are safe and legal ways for Venezuelans to emigrate to the U.S., such as the humanitarian parole program and the expansion of legal pathways through the "Safe Mobility" initiative. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) offers humanitarian parole to nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, and their immediate family members, to enter the U.S. in a safe and orderly manner.
