UAE Launches Groundbreaking Blue Residency Visa to Champion Global Environmental Stewardship

The UAE has recently implemented an innovative strategy to promote sustainability and combat climate change. The Blue Residency Visa is a new 10-year program designed to attract and retain the world's top environmental researchers, activists, and sustainable solution providers. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, COP28 President and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, hailed the Blue Residency Visa as a landmark announcement. The UAE has also introduced a long-term residency program in support of environmental protection, which was agreed upon during the COP28 UN Climate Change Conference held in Dubai in December.
