This global cooperation has been crucial in the UAE's ability to seize 78 tonnes of narcotics worth Dh2.4 billion over the past 5 years.

Dubai Customs, in particular, has been praised for its active collaboration with relevant agencies worldwide in addressing drug smuggling and transnational organized crime. This has led to the confiscation of 2.8 tonnes of drugs globally through information sharing and the tracking of over 1,100 international shipments.
